I can be in Darien in 1 hour so I won't have to send a check in the mail before I pick the bike up. Hopefully this is the real deal, otherwise there could be an issue.....

that's freaking awesome i remember renting that movie all the time when i was a kid!

its just nice to have a very close place that doesn't get overrun with tons of people. if it stays moderately unknown, then a shitload of people don't come to it, possibly get hurt, and give the DEP a reason to tear down all of the stuff that is built and maintained by others for people like you to enjoy...i'm sure you can understand why its nice to not tell the world.

i've seen those bikes around CT, they're awesome...sad part is that it has 4 more inches of travel than my kona and probably weighs 6 pounds less.

I really couldn't tell you man. I was there in 2007 with some buddies from norcal. Its either a DH run that begins at a huge outcropping of rocks at the top in ashland, or its a run in talent. It also could be something called Dirty Harry around tahoe. If you ride those three runs, you may find it, but you are guaranteed a hell of a time. We had 3 rides on a trip plus a day at northstar, i had a bunch of pics and just threw a few up .

i believe so....did a trip out there a few years ago, hit a ride in talent and one in ashland. i'm fairly certain that one is from talent. cool place, wish i could get out there again soon.

Nope he just fell on some stones to get the hole. Word has it he just bought a big boy bike, so we're going to have to see what kind of trouble he'll get into now.

Great pic...hey kind of a wierd question, that looks a ton like a barn we used to jump off when we were kids...I grew up at the alligator rock in gbury, is that around there?

Hey great shot...I recognized this drop as soon as i saw the picture. Met some friends in redding, ca then took a couple rides in Ashland in 2007. Did they take the drop down??
